Your role at Tony’s

We’re on the hunt for an exceptional Internal Communication Specialist to drive and execute our dynamic internal communication strategy. As our team is growing across the globe, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring all internal communication moments are not just impactful, but also disciplined and aligned.

In this role, you will be the driving force behind our internal communication agenda. You’ll take charge of crafting and coordinating content across various key communication moments and channels, including all-hands, global / central company meetings, newsletters, and other internal communications platforms. Through strong business partnering, clear expectations, feedback loops and brilliant execution you make sure that team Tony’s are well informed, supported and closely connected.

Reporting to the Global Talent management lead you will also support team Tony’s on employee listening and employer branding projects. In this capacity, you will work closely with the broader People&Culture team to ensure a strong employee experience and drive engagement across the organisation.

Here is what you will do:

  • Develop, implement, and oversee our internal communication strategy, ensuring a clear and structured communications calendar is in place.
  • Strengthen fundamental communication practices while aligning with Tony’s strategy, objectives, and core values to establish a consistent message.
  • Cultivate robust relationships with key stakeholders and senor business leaders business partners, fostering alignment, relevance, and uniformity in internal communications across various markets.
  • Take ownership of, execute, and refine our internal communication channels, such as all-hands meetings, newsletters, the internal communications platform, and emails, ensuring timely and robust messaging to the intended audience.
  • Innovate and establish a standard for compelling and informative content creation, including newsletters, announcements, presentations, and visual materials, effectively communicating key messages to the global team at Tony’s.
  • Establish a two-way communication mechanism (Q&A) and continuous feedback loops to gauge the effectiveness of internal communications, encouraging employee participation and perpetually enhancing communication efforts.
  • Create captivating employer branding content (drafts and mock-ups) in close collaboration with our people and creative team, executing our employer branding strategy with engaging, consistent communication.
  • Coordinate additional learning and development activities to ensure a comprehensive, smooth and consistent employee experience.

The ideal candidate:

  • Demonstrated experience in optimizing internal communication processes, streamlining procedures, and fostering seamless communication flow within the organization.
  • Proven ability in crafting engaging and informative content, ensuring that the organization remains well-informed while maintaining an engaging communication environment.
  • In-depth understanding of what great communication practices looks like and can effectively translate these practices to a smaller scale within a high-growth international setting.
  • Proficiency in utilizing an array of communication tools and platforms, including intranet systems, project management software, and multimedia tools, ensuring versatility in communication strategies and tactics.
  • Native-like proficiency in the English language, exhibiting fluency and precision in communication to engage effectively with a diverse global audience.
  • We are all about being more in person than apart; this means we offer flexibility but see each other in the Amsterdam office on average 3 days a week. More is fine!
