Hello, we are Caffe Inc. and we believe that no resource should go to waste! We have developed a 100% circular solution in which coffee waste is completely re-used and our ultimate goal is to become the world’s largest biorefinery for coffee waste. The coffee waste is used as a resource to recover beautiful ingredients that fit a conscious lifestyle. We mainly produce coffee oil for the personal care and food industries, and coffee blocks for the biobased materials industry. We have an R&D pipeline that includes innovative coffee colourants. As such we create value instead of burden, from the grounds up!

We are entering an exciting phase in which we are scaling up our production plant to recover coffee ingredients and so we are expanding our team.

Role description
As Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving our company’s growth by identifying and capitalising on new business opportunities with like-minded companies with a heart for sustainable and innovative ingredients. The focus is on the personal care sector, although the market extends beyond this specific industry. You will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and contributing to the overall growth and success of the company. Your role will involve market analysis, acquisition, but also collaboration with strategic partners and cross-functional teams to drive sales and revenue.


●        Finding and engaging potential customers, pitching, negotiating and closing deals (sales pipeline)

●        Building and maintaining a good relationship with network of customers and partners and keep track of progress

●        Explore market potential for new products and identify market opportunities  for the different categories as personal care, food and the colour industry

●        You will attend conferences and fairs, to actively showcase and promote Caffe Inc.

●        Reporting to the CEO



Are you excited about the role? We are looking for someone with the following profile:

●        HBO+ education (Applied Science, Commercial or related)

●        Proven commercial track record in B2B (at least 5 years)

●        Experience in the cosmetic ingredients/personal care industry

●        Affinity in natural and/or sustainable products

●        Strong written and verbal communication skills

●        Ability to work independently with a results-driven approach

●        Residing in the Netherlands with proficiency in English and Dutch at a professional level
