Then this is the ideal position for you! Searious Business is looking for a Business Analyst who can be available 32-40 hours a week (flexible hours possible).

The job requirements
Preventing plastic waste is incredibly multi-faceted, and our clients need help. We need you to bring your full range of analytical skills and sustainability expertise to provide the best possible strategic advice to our clients. This role requires:

  • Knowledge of how to develop a cost-benefit analysis (CBA) and develop business case modeling. Proficiency in the use of Excel for CBA calculations is a must
  • Analytical Thinking: analyze and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform decision-making and business strategies.
  • Ability to present results and data in a clear and concise manner.
  • Capacity to interact with stakeholders, define requirements, and convey complex technical information to non-technical audiences effectively.
  • Ability to assess requirements, business processes, and other project-related information in a clear and structured manner is essential for effective communication and project success.
  • Data Modeling and Visualization: Basic knowledge of data modeling techniques and data visualization tools.
  • Experience in and/or proficiency with Extended Producer Responsibiilty.
  • Basic knowledge of Life Cycle Analysis (LCA).

 

Who are you?

  • You have at least 2 years of experience within the industry.
  • You must be a self-starter, organised and confident enough to foster relationships and communicate with external groups.
  • Your role will require you to be aligned with our mission and core values, and to be flexible and proactive with customers and a wide range of collaborative partners. You recognise yourself in these qualities: reliability, representativeness, perseverance, result orientation, independence and flexibility.
  • You have a genuine ‘can-do’ attitude and a positive approach to the way Searious Business operates and to the realisation of our social mission.
  • You enjoy working in a fast-paced, pioneering scale-up style environment.
  • You are available 32-40 hours a week. In order to create synergies and cross-overs within our team, you need to be willing to work regularly from our office in Eindhoven, the Netherlands.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English. French or Spanish are an asset.

  • Salary indication: € 37,570 – € 40,162 per year based on 40h/week, depending on years of experience. As a young company, we do not offer a pension benefit (you have to arrange this yourself), but we do offer a training budget and a high degree of involvement in company strategy.
