Senior Innovation Marketeer

Tony’s Chocolonely’s mission is to make 100% slave-free the norm in chocolate. Tony’s does this by running a viable chocolate business, while at the same time creating awareness, giving the right example, and inspiring others to act. Tony’s is growing rapidly into an international company, with a home base (global) team and local teams (BLX, UK, US, DACH & Nordics).

Your role at Tony’s

We are looking for a Senior Innovation Marketeer Bars to join our Amsterdam Homebase team! The #1 goal of this role is to execute the Tony’s product strategy on Bars (and Chocolate milk), as well as the 3-year roadmap for NPD and current assortment.

You get to bring our product and brand plans to life in each market by providing the markets with the right product portfolio and tools for growth. Next to that you will be the one developing and tracking the performance of Tony’s international product portfolio and manage a team of two Tony’s.

You will part of the Amsterdam-based Marketing Product team and will directly report to Tony’s Product Lead.

Are you ready to raise the bar with us? Here’s what you’ll do:

  • You roll out Tony’s product strategy for Bars. You monitor the performance of Tony’s product range, identify any issues and create actionable plans to solve them;
  • You identify trends and market developments and translate them into new strategic decisions, concepts, and product propositions (Yep, it’s you who gets to decide which new flavours to launch!);
  • You develop and launch NPDs from idea to market. You are responsible for the project management of complex NPD projects by leading multi-disciplinary NPD team;
  • You lead the Tony’s Bars team, consisting of a Product marketeer and a Choco engineer (product development). You coach the two Tony’s so they can thrive in their work by ensuring clarity about responsibilities and a clear goal for projects. Next to that you coach them by always leading by example and giving direction for personal development.

What you already bring to the table:

  • You have 7+ years of experience in product innovation marketing within the food & beverages industry and with a global mindset;
  • You know how to bring strategy into action. You have a proven track record in translating ideas into strategies and breakthrough innovations;
  • You are comfortable dealing with complex projects, high quantities and sometimes contradictory information;
  • You have experience in driving results by building an effective team and managing direct reports;
  • You know how to communicate to different audiences and actively manage stakeholders to get results;
  • And last, but not least, you see yourself in Tony’s core values (outspoken, wilful, entrepreneurial & makes you smile) and believe wholeheartedly in our mission to make chocolate 100% slave-free.
