Your role at Tony’s
We’re looking for a Junior Logistics and Transport Coordinator to join the Operations team in Amsterdam! The #1 goal of your role is contributing to the availability of all Tony’s products by realizing an accurate flow of goods, funds, and information, both physically and through Tony’s ERP system.
You will be the one managing and maintaining product master data, inbound and outbound transactions, budget prices and invoices and make sure all Tony’s products are delivered to the primary warehouses of the Tony’s markets. This includes management of container transport to the United States. Next to that you are responsible for internal customer service, from Tony’s Homebase team to all our markets. You are the data spider in Tony’s logistic web and ensure company processes are run based on accurate data. You will be part of Tony’s operations team and report to the short-term planning lead.
Here’s what you will do:
1. Running the Tony’s primary logistics network
- You will be in contact with our 3PL and international logistics companies and ensuring trucks and containers are planned, filled and shipped;
- You will manage the full administrative process and custom clearance for both US and UK;
- You will make sure all inbound logistics invoices are checked and approved.
2. Flawless master data management in Tony’s ERP system
- You will maintain the correct and timely master data of all chocolate products in both our ERP system Business Central as well as other relevant files and systems.
3. Responsibility for budget prices, settlements, production orders, inbounds and invoices of co-manufacturers and co-packers
- You will make sure the correct prices are entered in the systems;
- You will process and approve purchase invoices from co-manufacturers and co-packers;
- You are responsible for monthly price corrections and settlements between actual and budgeted prices;
- You will process all inbounds and ensure the products become available on stock in Tony’s ERP systems.
4. Delivering optimal customer service to our markets
- You are the point of contact for service and delivery related questions from our Tony’s markets;
- You are in touch with our logistics, warehouse and e-commerce network and build strong relationships.
What you already bring to the table:
- You are fluent in English;
- You love accurate data, organization and structure. You like to plan ahead but can still find last minute solutions if things don’t go as planned;
- You have experience in building partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives;
- You take on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm;
- You hold yourself and other self accountable to meet commitments;
- Experience with logistics and ERP systems is a plus!
