Account Manager E-Commerce

Your role at Tony’s

We are looking for an Account Manager eCommerce to join our Benelux team based in Amsterdam! The #1 goal of this role is to build meaningful relationships with a portfolio of pure player retailers which vary from grocery retailers (e.g. Picnic, Flink, Hello fresh) to gifting retailers (e.g. Greetz, Hallmark, topgeschenken). We are seeking for a highly ambitious, proactive and experienced sales professional to help us continue growing our impact, maximize profitable revenue and ultimately help us achieving our mission, one choco bean at the time. Besides nurturing relationships and developing new business with key ecommerce resellers, you will also manage our own shops on marketplaces ( & Amazon).

This is an individual contributor role who reports to the eCommerce lead who values individual coaching as well as autonomy to allow you to own your success. This is a brilliant opportunity for a sales driven professional who wants to be part of something truly revolutionary.

What you will do:

  • Build and nurture relationships with a portfolio of pure player retailers based in the Netherlands and Belgium to reach maximum turnover and growth.
  • Partner up with the retailers to ensure maximum visibility, healthy margins, optimal assortment, and great mission related content on their platform.
  • Negotiate annual agreements and ensure good distribution, findability, and visibility.
  • Acquire new customers and new strategic resellers who can contribute to Tony’s mission.
  • Grow our marketplace shops on & Amazon by defining the right assortment, price strategy and manage smart media investments together with our marketplace agency.
  • Be a Tony’s advocate in promoting our products, company’s value and mission to new and existing clients.

The ideal candidate:

  • Experience in managing and driving growth with a portfolio of pure player accounts ideally within the FMCG industry. Experience with marketplaces is a big plus.
  • Excellent relationship management skills that bring a smile to our customer’s faces and make the impossible possible.
  • Ability to think analytically and strategically and develop innovative sales strategies to acquire new customers and drive business growth.
  • Fluency in both Dutch and English is required for this role, as it involves communication with clients in both languages. French would be the cherry on the cake.
