BI Analyst

Your role at Tony’s

We are looking for a BI Analyst to join our team! The #1 goal of your role is generating powerful data driven insights to drive positive change across Tony’s. You understand what buttons need to be pushed to create change and being. You can connect the dots that matter to make better and fact-based decisions, faster. You are a business partner when it comes to front-end BI. You help to find the answers they need on their own, or you build the reports or dashboards that are carefully balanced between insights and ease of use. You’ll be part of the Business Intelligence (BI) team that is working on several exciting projects for the whole organization and will report directly to the Lead BI.

Your role at Tony’s:

• Accelerating our BI development. You work closely together with Lead BI to execute front-end development plans of (new) dashboards and reports in our BI tool, Power BI. You do this in close cooperation with the business, to get a good understanding of the requirements.
• Being a true business partner. You are the first line support to help fellow Tony’s get the right numbers out of our data model when they are stuck. When there’s a potential crisis, you get the right numbers out, fast. You help them at hand and make them comfortable to do it themselves next time.
• You are the Power BI & DAX wizard. BI is a relatively new domain and new features are launched every day unfolding opportunities along our journey. You stay up-to-speed with the latest developments and continuously seek to raise the bar to get us further in our roadmap.
• Keeping ‘all things BI’ organized. You make sure that we log all supporting materials that we need for everyone to find their way around in our constantly developing BI environment by mapping our data landscape, processes, keeping guides up to date.
• Ensuring that our reports are a smooth ride. Sometimes things break under the hood or need a revamp on the front-end. You make sure that the reported numbers stem from one source of truth and minimize downtime in our reporting dashboarding tools.

What you already bring to the table:

•  You have a BSc or MSc degree with a focus on Data or Business Analytics and you already have up to 3-5 years of experience as Business and/or Data Analyst under your belt.
• You can take up projects from start till end independently but also enjoy connecting and working with people from different departments.
• You’re comfortable in a dynamic, fast-changing environment and like to do things differently.
• Ideally, you have experience with Microsoft PowerBI or similar BI tools.
• You are passionate about numbers, yet you see the complete picture beyond the numbers, and you have the ability to tell a story from a dashboard to the organization across different teams and cultures; you’re a natural storyteller.
• And last, but not least, you see yourself in Tony’s core values (outspoken, wilful, entrepreneurial and makes you smile) and believe wholeheartedly in our mission to make chocolate 100% slave-free
